ABOUT THE WORK:
"6-hour 'Detail Clean' & Restock"Our company provides high-end concierge services to affluent owners of luxury and vacation homes on Florida’s Treasure Coast, located between Ft. Pierce and Stuart. Many of the homes are oceanfront villas and estates, while others are waterfront homes located on the Intracoastal / Indian River.
Included among the services we provide is a 6-hour "detail clean & restock" shift that runs from 11am until 4pm, with a one-hour inspection/review period between 4pm and 5pm. The "detail clean & restock" team consists of 3 to 5 team members, depending on the size of the house. (Our largest homes require a 5-person team, while our smallest homes require a 3-person team; the average mid-size home requires a 4-person team)
Each team consists of one crew leader/supervisor, one person responsible for outdoor recreational maintenance and upkeep, and between one and three "inside the house" cleaners/restockers.
SHIFTS & SHIFT POSITIONS:
Work shifts are available seven days per week. Saturdays and Sundays tend to feature the most shifts. A website is available through which you can choose which dates you want to work in the coming 2 weeks and select which positions on the team you would like to work.
Positions:
Crew Leader/Supervisor: The crew leader has experience working both types of shifts (see below), and serves as team coordinator, with overall responsibility for ensuring that all work passes inspection at 4pm. (for more about the 4pm inspection process, see below)
Outdoors Recreational Maintenance & Upkeep: This person spends most of the shift working outdoors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning and maintaining recreational items like kayaks, paddleboards, bicycles, grills, firepits, putting greens, patio furniture, fishing docks, and more. Duties also include cleaning and maintaining hot tubs and swimming pools, collecting litter and removing trash, and performing minor tasks inside the residence (such as changing light bulbs), assisting other team members with their tasks, and more.
Inside: Between one and three persons on the team are responsible for performing detailed cleaning inside the residence. Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning kitchens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, floors, windows, restocking bathroom linens, toiletries, kitchen-pantry items, assisting other team members with their tasks & more.
WORK STATUS & COMPENSATION:
Each worker is an independent contractor who chooses their own work schedule and provides their own cleaning/maintenance tools (for 'inside' shifts: rags, brushes, gloves, masks and cleaning chemicals; for 'outside & maintenance' shifts: work gloves and mask). If you are unable to bring your own materials, you may rent or purchase materials from the company at the beginning of your shift. After you have received your first $600 in compensation, you will be asked to provide a social security number or taxpayer identification number to facilitate the filing of 1099-MISC reports at the end of the year.
Starting compensation ranges between $15/hour and $25/hour, depending upon the type of shifts you choose to work and your experience/skillset. After the first 90 days, you will receive a performance evaluation, and the compensation level may be increased above the $15-$25/hour range. In no scenario is your compensation ever below $15/hour, or $90 for a 6-hour shift.
Payments are ordinarily remitted to you on Fridays, and reflect work performed the prior 7 calendar days, up to and including the same Friday. Payment is made according to your preferences (paper check or internet payment platform such as Zelle/Paypal)
4PM INSPECTION:
At 4pm, work related to the "detail clean & restock" concludes, and a third-party inspector arrives to the home to review the work and perform an inspection. During this 1-hour review period, you may be asked to perform additional touch-up work or other related tasks, according to the inspector's findings. At 4:45pm, the inspector and work team all depart the property.
TRAINING:
After you submit your online registration, the Administrator will contact you to explain next steps. These steps often include setting up an appointment with you to observe a work crew in action at one of our Treasure Coast beachfront or riverfront properties, and at times even participate in the work as a form of paid on-the-job training.
